Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome! The PTFA is excited to start another wonderful year at Ysgol Gwaun y Nant. We have many activities planned and we are happy to be working with all of you! We thank you for your past and continued support. Please feel free to contact us at anytime. 

We have many events planned for the upcoming school year. We welcome your input. We are always in need of extra support and members for the PTFA.  As the new school year begins, we would once again ask for your support so that we can continue making resources and learning opportunities available to our pupils.

For the PTFA to be effective and truly representative of the school, everyone’s participation is essential. Many parents feel that they cannot participate in the PTA because they cannot come to meetings.  We want everyone to feel that they are part of Ysgol Gwaun y Nant.  Whether you have 15 minutes or a few hours, your voice, your ideas, your time and your talents are truly needed. We can match your time constraints and interests to events and tasks. There are endless possibilities in ways you can help.

Keep in mind that by volunteering at our school, you will get to enjoy interacting and become friends with other parents, and accomplish things that truly make a difference. What better way to show our kids how important their school is than by showing up.  We promise that the time you give to the PTFA and the school will be worth your while and fun! Please consider volunteering, it really does make a difference to all of our pupils.
